ANNOUNCEMENTS

Dear colleagues,

The Second International Conference on Mesoscopic Methods in Engineering
and Science (ICMMES) will take place in July 26-29, 2005 at the Hong
Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU), Hong Kong, China. The ICMMES-2005
will be preceded by a one-day short course given by several experts in
the field on July 25, 2005.

To encourage early registration, we have decided to postpone the
deadline for 2 more weeks:

Early Registration: by April 30, 2005
Abstract submission deadline: by April 30, 2005
Notification of acceptance of abstracts: by May 15, 2005

The papers submitted to ICMMES-05 will be considered for publication in
International Journal of Computational Fluid Dynamics (IJCFD) and
International Journal of Modern Physics C (IJMPC). All the papers will
be subject to review processes set by these Journals.

The Local Organizing Committee has secured 50 rooms in HKPU's student
residence hall for those who need it. The cost for staying in the
student residence hall is:

Double Occupancy (per person per night): HK$120 (about US$16)
Single Occupancy (per person per night): HK$200 (about US$26)

To make reservation in the student residence hall, please send email to
icmmes.05@polyu.edu.hk with your name, sex, check in and check dates,
and double or single occupancy room.
